Safumax receives information requests about its customers from law enforcement agencies around the world.


Safumax receives occasional requests for information about its clients from law enforcement agencies around the world. The purpose of this page is to provide you and law enforcement with information on how to handle these requests.

Law enforcement is typically interested in two types of data: Customer Identity Information and information about their trading activities, this may vary from place to place. For example, production orders, search warrants and subpoenas, and requests for voluntary disclosure of data can all constitute legal proceedings.

Safumax reviews each order and voluntary disclosure request to determine that it has a valid legal basis and to ensure that any response is rigorously adjusted to ensure that only data that law enforcement agencies are entitled to receive are provided; Law Enforcement Agencies are welcome to enquire about their policies and procedures. Please contact Safumax at [email protected] . In order to facilitate the prompt review of requests for information, law enforcement requests should provide the following information:

  1. 1. Name of Law Enforcement Agency;. Certifying that the officer has the authority to request information (authoritative certification) and present position in the law enforcement agency;.
  2. 2. The identity certificate (such as internal ID card number) of the internal personnel of the law enforcement agency;.
  3. 3. Investigation letters issued by law enforcement agencies;.
  4. 4. E-mail address from a government domain name; . The name of the specific legal entity requesting information; .
  5. 5. The content of the specific information required from the customer;. Other details, including
  • 1) setting a reasonable deadline and
  • 2) international enforcement requests for MLA treaties,
